Master of Public Health The Master of Public Health degree is a unique one-year program that provides graduates with the academic knowledge and skill sets to make an impact in public health care practice and research.

Program Accreditation
The MPH program at The Institute is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). CEPH is the accrediting body for all programs and schools of public health.
The Institute’s MPH program was first accredited by CEPH in 2003 for the maximum five years. The program is up for re-accreditation in 2008. The Institute’s MPH program is one of 69 accredited MPH programs across the country.
The Institute is also a member of the Council of Graduate Programs in Public Health, through the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR).
As in the MS Program, students may choose from a number of electives. In addition, MPH students must complete and describe a field internship experience demonstrating their ability to integrate the skills and knowledge they have acquired.
